Metropolis Cafe in the South End is now serving breakfast Monday through Friday, in addition to its famous weekend brunch. Offering a steal of a meal with the newly introduced Working Man's Breakfast (2 eggs any style, with home fries, toast and bacon, $4.95!), Metropolis Cafe is the perfect spot to start your day. Gustatory highlights include Monte Cristos, eggs with black beans and chorizo, and a stack of pancakes with choice of berries.

Weekdays, breakfast starts at 7:30 AM and is served until 2 PM. Brunch is available Saturdays and Sundays beginning at 9 AM and ending at 3 PM.
